Abstract

An examination of security vulnerabilities discovered in IoT devices deployed in smart city initiatives across Portugal, with recommendations for secure implementation.

Introduction

This research article presents a detailed analysis of iot security vulnerabilities in smart city implementations, exploring the main findings, methodologies used, and practical recommendations for security professionals.

Methodology

The research was conducted using a combination of real penetration testing data analysis, academic literature review, and interviews with industry experts. Data was collected over several months of field work.
